Undergraduate Mentoring

I believe that undergraduate mentoring is an invaluable opportunity to help support undergraduate interns experience science, as well as to help them explore possible future careers and further their education. I have been privileged throughout my life to have wonderful mentors and research experiences and I am now committed to providing a safe, supportive environment for my undergraduates to explore the scientific world. Undergraduates from all backgrounds are welcome to contact me about research opportunities! Current undergraduate projects involve: culturing and identifying the fungi associated with seagrasses, fungal microscopy and some fieldwork to collect seagrass from beds in Bodega Bay, CA.
